Susan A. McLaren, MPH, CHE Ms. McLaren is a Senior Associate in Morgan Healthcare Consulting, LLC. Her experience is in health services research, project management, program evaluation, consumer survey administration, quality assurance measurement development and assessment, acute and post acute strategic and operational planning. Her accomplishments include the development and implementation numerous comprehensive program evaluations for publicly funded agencies including state Medicaid, Nursing Home, Public Health and Mental Health programs to access program access, quality, and cost. She has also provided program evaluation services to grant funded programs including the Health Law Partnership and the Georgia Partnership for Caring Programs. She has assisted long term and acute health care facilities develop and implement strategic and service line plans and compose successful Certificate of Need applications. Her experience also includes using data and methods to examine operational and reimbursement problems and implement solutions that better enabled management teams to access, design, review data in a format that allowed for expeditious and decisive decision making. Her research has appeared in Research in Healthcare Financial Management and Strategies in Post Acute Care. She has also served as a presenter at the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting. She is a Certified Healthcare Executive and Diplomate in the American College of Healthcare Executives and an active member and former officer in the Georgia Association of Healthcare Executives. She is also an active member in the Atlanta Area Evaluators Association. She earned her Master of Public Health and Bachelor degrees in Economics and Biology from the Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She resides in Atlanta with her husband and daughter.
